Here is an example of a totally meaningless statement:

“In three long decades of painstaking attention to details, dogged persistence and political nimbleness, Sen. Hillary Clinton has shown that she can breathe life and form to the ideals that she and Sen. Obama espouse on the campaign trail.”

Talk about the life she breathed into national healthcare. We now have 50 million uninsured people. Think of how many people died without the proper medical attention because of Hillary’s ability to “breath life” into an ideal.

Think of all the middle class Americans who lost their jobs because of NAFTA. Think of the erosion of the manufacturing sector in America’s heartland.

OOOPS, I forgot. Hillary didn’t support NAFTA. She was just a “first lady.”

So tell me again about 35 years of experience.

Tell me about all of the Clinton success with Islamic militant terrorism and how they so effectively dealt with Osama bin Laden in the late 90’s especially after the African embassy bombings.

The Clintons were fighting about Monica back then weren/t they?

Of course, there is Hillary’s Senate careeer? What has she done? Oh, she voted to invade Iraq.

She breathes life into war and occupation.

She also disconnects herself from NAFTA, now saying that she opposed it but it was rammed down her throat because she was just the “first lady” and could not oppose her husband’s legislation.

Loadacrap no matter how you spin it.

Hillary is now attacking Obama 24/7 and Bill has had his muzzle removed and is back on the attack himself.

Hillary fans accuse Obama supporters of worshipping a messiah while you yourselves just simply worship a woman who is essentially a chameleon.

Not only that, she has a big, obnoxious mouth that I just don’t think we should have to listen to. No wonder she hates Obama’s oratory skills.

I also agree with the your take condescension leveled against Obama supporters, which is particularly galling considering much of it is coming from the same people who have spent years bemoaning that lack of young people participating and the lack of enthusiasm for Dem candidates in general. You’d think a lot of people being excited about one of our candidates was a bad thing or something.

I have said this before, but there is also the problem of Bill Clinton. We lost a lot of opportunities in the 90’s because of his lack of impulse control. I am not willing to risk that again. The best analogy that I can come up with is that (if this were baseball) HRC is a bunt and Obama is swinging for a homerun.

Let me throw a little water on some of HRC best loved arguments. Obama has never faced a strong opponent. Ok, I would say that HRC is tough. He faced very tough primary fights for both Senate seats (and won). His campaign has adjusted to the dynamics of this race very well. I cannot say the same for her campaign. It is reasonable to say that he has never faced a tough Republican opponent, but I would argue that neither has she. Rick Lazio is not what I would consider a tough opponent in New York and she faced token opposition in 2006. I can tell you what she had never faced, a contested primary which is why she is struggling now.

35 years of experience? Please, she was in law school 35 years ago. She spent more time on the board of Wal-Mart than the US Senate. She has solid experience as a lawyer and some non-profit experience. She has done some good things, but she mischaracterizes her experience which bothers me.

I have one last thing to say to HRC supporters, your argument that Obama supporters are somehow naive or foolish is insulting. I can speak as a veteran of Democratic politics for 14 years and over 20 campaigns that I know what it takes to win.

I understand your views will not change, but please HRC supporters stop with condescension. Like it or not, Obama has ever bit the claim to the presidency as HRC, but with little of the sense of entitlement.
