Next Stop….Texas!
Posted by: Dana
This has been a wonderful journey supporting Hillary. I started early, got others on board and have done everything I can to shatter the marble ceiling. No regrets here! Looking back since January of this year I have gone to Iowa, Nevada, took a vacation and worked 20 hour days in Arizona as Hillary’s communications director. When all eyes were looking at Texas, I called my mom who has never campaigned and asked her to meet me in Texas. Let’s take part in history! I arrived in Austin late last night and mom arrives today. We are here to be part of history. We are not alone, tomorrow, Debra, Bree, Angie and Michael will be arriving and there is a group of 50 in Austin that have come from all over the country. I have a little sister who just turned 18 and got to vote for the first time in her life. The very first time she voted she got to choose between the first woman or the first man of color- that is history. Of course I did my work and she cast her first vote for a woman for President, Geena’s birthday in on Tuesday. More later….I will try to give an update every night so stay tuned….

Dana, Angie, Michael, Donna, and Mom -
I had a GREAT experience in Austin with all of you. It was hard work, but worth it!
