I see both as long shots. Even on the off chance she's asked, she has pretty emphatically stated she wants to finish out her term(s) as governor. And I doubt having a newborn (she's 7 months pregnant) on a national campaign trail is something she wants to endure. Bottom line: we here in Alaska enjoy the attention she's bringing us, but we're pretty sure she's staying put for the next three- to seven-years. A little bragging on her behalf, not only was she a high school athlete, she was the star guard on the state championship team her senior year. Oh, Wasilla is spelled Wasilla.
