Emerge changes lives, and it changes our state by helping women be prepared, qualified candidates. It is a great organization! I am proud to be associated with Emerge.

The Emerge Arizona program is such an eye-opener. I feel privileged to have graduated from the 2005 class and to have helped with trainings in 2007 and 2008.

You said it's about networking, volunteering and raising and giving money. I agree, but I want to add it goes further than that. While on the campaign trail in 2006 and this year, I've met women who jumped into campaigns without training, and I've been able to answer their questions and give them some guidance on how to proceed with campaigning - all based on what I learned from Emerge.

I'll also encourage some of them to apply for the Emerge Class of 2009.
