Days later, and still NOTHING from the Obama campaign to help clear up the issue of that VERY odd email.

Yesterday on the National Clinton Delegate phone call, the email from Obama was mentioned - so it did go out to almost all Clinton delegates to my understanding...

You would think they would want to clear this up - or at least give you an email/contact that gets you a REAL person.

Trust me, I do not want President McCain....I AM a Democrat....but to further the information you need to get back to the Obama camp, I went canvassing Saturday for a local candidate for the state legislature and hit 14 homes where someone was home and 5 of them said (older women, mind you) that they WILL not vote for Obama. Not a good ratio. Hopefully, it will improve with the coming months.

Not what I want to hear, but what I DID hear.

As a Democratic leader in my community, I am just letting everyone know the realities of politics, these women are adamant- they are are not active party leaders like me, they are just hi-efficacy Democrats.

He has weakness with several very MAJOR constituencies - and it doesn't help to call them bitter, stupid, racist.....no matter the reason they don't like him- they vote and many are the Reagan Democrats they we really need back in order to win elections.

I am hoping it will all work out!

Sorry to post again so soon, but I've been reading and thinking over the comment by No Wuss Diva. I believe she's right in saying that her feelings are shared by a number of women of her (my) age cohort. I think she uses the word "invisible" with irony, because it seems clear to me that she is far from invisible, working hard for what and whom she believes in. I hope she and others will consider a general principle: when we seek the best, not the worst, in our adversary, we may find an ally. Because to me, the "bitter end" is seeing John McCain walk into the White House.

Hi folks,

I'm Angie Crouse's Dad, and I live in Lancaster, PA. I was and am an Obama volunteer team leader, but I stay in close touch with Angie. She called me on Friday to tell me about the e-mail from the Obama campaign, and forwarded it to me. Having received a lot of communications from the campaign over the months, the message that has (quite rightly) aroused your concern appears to have been written for Obama delegates, not for Clinton delegates. I stress that I am speaking only as an individual, and not for the campaign, but I know the high degree of concern within the Obama campaign for acting with diplomacy and respect toward Sen. Clinton and her supporters, especially as the transition begins to take place. I know how hard Angie worked for Hillary, and hom much of herself she put into the Clinton campaign, and I presume you all did the same. I strongly believe that you receved the e-mail by mistake, and that your addresses were erroneously mixed in with those of Obama delegates. I have forwarded the matter to a state staffer in Philadelphia, with the request that it be sent up the line so that corrective action can be taken. Again, speaking only for myself, I want you folks to feel welcomed as valued additions to a unified campaign to put a Democrat in the White House. Which is why I volunteered on Wedenesday for the Unity Outreach Team. I am by no means an authorized spokesman, but I'd welcome hearing from you at chuckwc2003@yahoo.com.

I cannot believe they would just take us for granted like this- not a good start to say the least , but I suppose we will be accused of being TOO sensitive. I will remain a Clinton Delegate until the bitter end- sorry - just that I was elected a Clinton delegate - I would never have run to be an Obama delegate - just wouldn't have happened.
Joe Biden delegate, yea, Obama delegate, never! Sorry, guys, I am one of those older invisible women that BHO is gonna have trouble with. I have received many emails already from the "older ladies" that clearly demonstrate he has a serious problem with them. They are all refusing to vote for him.
He needs to work on his weaknesses in different consituencies quickly because we have to beat McCain.

I got the exact same email, and I am taken back that it wouldn't be a letter of "uniting" the delegates.

This MUST have been sent out in error. At least I am hoping it was.
