Last month GM reported an uptick in sales of large trucks and SUVs, due to the sharp decrease in gas prices. Because it’s not like they will ever go up again or anything.
When I was in Michigan in early December, I saw a glut of bumper stickers reading, “Still have a job? Keep buying foreign.” Unfortunately, Hertz gave me a Toyota.
