Someone on a message board reports she got the following robocall from newly elected MA Senator Scott Brown:

“This is your newly elected Senator from Mass. and I want to tell you how much I appreciate the role your Senator, John McCain played in my winning this election. Please support John McCain in his re-election so together we can change Washington and stop this outrageous government takeover of Healthcare. Thank you.”

That was quick.

I had called McCain’s office to tell him I want an improved healthcare bill from the Senate then I listened to my voicemail and there was that robot call from Scott Brown supporting McCain. They are both loosers in my book.

    Of course.

There is no course of action too crass, no lie too big, and no act too craven if you are a Republican.

Scott Brown campaigned against a national health care bill that is essentially a clone of the Massachusetts system HE SUPPORTS.

Right on cue, the Democratic leadership has bravely entered their Standard Fighting Position: curled up into a fetal ball whimpering “Don’t Kick Me” to the R’s.

Or as the Village Voice so aptly put it today:

“Republicans gain 41 to 59 Senate Majority”

We got it too. Both registered Dems – not exactly McCain’s primary voters, so not really sure why he wasted his money on us.

He is obviously shoring up his teabagger credentials against a potential run by Hayworth, with that robo call and the announcement that Palin will be in town to campaign w/him.

Why so many calls to Dems? Why would Democrats want to be reminded that this yahoo won Teddy Kennedy’s seat and that John McCain helped him?

    Ha!
You liburals just don’t get it!

John McCain with his7 or 8 houses, or 6 , his muitimillionaire wife, his lifetime free healthcare, you’ve got to know he represents us common people.

(is it me, or am i catching a bit of a whiff of panic?)
