Have any companies actually promised to create manufacturing jobs here should they get the tax cuts GOP legislators want to give them?

According to CEO of Banner Health, cuts in AHCCCS will cost AZ 42,000 jobs. Where is the logic, loose jobs by cutting healthcare for the poor and cut taxes for corporations on the HOPE that they will create jobs?

Toby c’mon, use your Gooper brain.

“We cut the budget and didn’t vote for new taxes!”

Which of course means fewer services. Which of course means sicker people. Which of course means emergency rooms that have
to admit ,overloaded with preventable diseases. With the bill three times what it would be if prevented at the get go. Which of course can’t be paid, duh, no AHCCCS. (not to mention waiting with a sick child for 2 hours at 3:00 AM)

See! It’s easy with theGooper reptile brain. “I got mine!”

Um,what do you mean it’s all top down?”

    Here’s a better one.

“Where are all those wonderful manufacturing jobs we were supposed to get the last twenty years while you were cutting taxes?”

One word, “California” . See what your screw the rich, screw business has wrought in California . Don’t take my word for it . Google it . You lefties can google, right ? If not I can post websites with the information on it .

As far as manufacturing jobs, that would be nice . Any jobs would be nice .

Alan, are you saying that having one of the lowest effective tax rates is necessary for a successful and prosperous state? You sound a little hostile. What’s wrong, doesn’t Daddy Grover love you enough yet? I think you should take your libertarian self to Somalia or Afghanistan where you won’t be bothered by taxes or government services. The rest of us just want everyone to pay a fair share for the cost of civilized society.

California has liberal policies but conservative taxes.

“See what your screw the rich, screw business has wrought in California”

The eighth largest economy in the world?

    Susan,

    ” You sound a little hostile. ”

As a matter of fact I am . I see Socialists running the country . Before they are thrown out they will do much damage . I noticed you did not challenge me on my facts . But wait, someone has .

    Todd,

” “See what your screw the rich, screw business has wrought in California”

” The eighth largest economy in the world? ”

That was before Socialism . What was and still should be the richest State, is a joke . Above average unemployment . Budget crisis’s that would make a third world country ashamed . They were in trouble before the national economy tanked . Businesses fleeing to more tax sane States . Rich people fleeing with whatever Sacramento hasn’t stolen from them .

Just stop me if you catch me in an error . No , well then I will go on . New York State almost as bad . Government workers who making far more in pay and pensions than their private sector counterparts . State is BILLIONS in the red .

Then there is New Jersey . Chris Christie is trying to clean up years of Big Government BS. He not only has to fight Democrats, teacher’s unions, but the Courts who think it is their job to make laws .

Now I’ve just given you 3 true examples of how destructive your left wing policies are . As always, prove me wrong . As always show me where your ideas have worked !

    Vermont comes to mind instantly.

And California, once again, has liberal policies but conservative taxes. Until the passage of Prop. 13, California balanced the budget and had the best schools in the nation.

    Appleblossom,

Thank you for giving me an example . No one else on this board ever had the courage to do that . I am researching Vermont at the moment .

I disagree about California . Prop.13 was a desperation action on the part of abused citizens . I thought a good Democrat like yourself cared about senior citizens, but I guess not .

Many of prop.13′s supporters were old folks on fixed incomes . Rising property taxes were forcing them out of their home .

The unfortunate thing about Prop 13 was that it did not stop the increases in spending at the local and state level . The Socialists just raised all of the other taxes .

The bureaucrats and teachers got richer . The poor got their bread and circuses and the public got robbed .

    Appleblossom,

I will give you Vermont . It is not a total basket case for a high tax state . It’s unemployment rate is below average . It’s deficit is not horrible .

The only thing I will say is that in terms of population it is very small. I found it interesting that Howard Dean, it’s former Governor used to brag about cutting State income taxes .

You may be surprised at this Mr. Scott but I agree there was a problem with the property taxes in California at the time.

However the answer was not what was passed. It has done immense damage to the infrastructure of California-which keeps passing unfunded voter mandates.

ZOMG NOT SOCIALISM! Call your fire department and demand that they stop trampling our liberty by stealing from the many to put out a few fires AT ONCE!

    Appleblossom,

You and every other liberal progressive think that you own the tax money . You tell everyone else to pay up and shut up . Then you play the class warfare card because you know that the average American is uneducated in economics .

It’s easy to tell lower income people that those above them are screwing them . If their rich boss would only pay more and have politicians give it to them, then their lives will be better . I mean who among us is not envious of those who have more .

And your argument sells . It has sold wonderfully in New York, California, and New Jersey . The only real beneficiaries are government employees, lawyers, and Community Activists .

Again I cite the total wreckage you people have caused in those 3 States . So far Vermont is one of your few success stories, but I have eternal faith that as more liberals move in from surrounding North East States, Vermont will go the way of every other welfare State .
