Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Daniel.

Per Dylan Smith of The Tucson Sentinel on Rep. Daniel Patterson’s latest domestic violence allegations:

Patterson said Escobar has bipolar disorder, PTSD, and ADHD.

“I think she’s stopped taking her medication,” he said.

Patterson said Monday that he won’t resign from office.

“I’m not going to be blackmailed,” he said.

Escobar “wants a lot of money that I don’t owe her,” he said.

The “Phoenix political bosses” calling on him to step down “are going to look pretty foolish for rushing to judgment,” he said.

Patterson said the fact that he “doesn’t toe the party line” might be leading party officials to “throw me under the bus.”

“I might think about running as an independent,” he said.

Patterson’s ex-wife, Jeneiene Schaffer, made some very credible allegations in 2010 that he was violent toward her during their marriage and divorce proceedings. Patterson denied it and some prominent Arizona Dems, including the Pima County Democratic Party Chair Jeff Rogers, rallied around him. Rogers even provided Patterson with legal counsel in his divorce and in responding to the restraining order Schaffer filed against him. Now Patterson claims that ex-girlfriend and former campaign manager Georgette Escobar assaulted him repeatedly, not the other way around as she stated when she sought a restraining order. We do need to let the legal system run its course, as House Minority Leader Chad Campbell says. But Patterson is engaging in some really foul gaslighting via the internet here. Go away, Daniel Patterson.

Props to Minority Leader Chad Campbell and ADP ED Luis Heredia for telling Patterson to pull the plug.

    Integrity, comes from the Dems..

The GOP (Pearce and Crew) …’stuck’… with Bungaard, when his allegations of beating a women on the freeway, surfaced.

In this case, I am glad to see the Dems will not tolerate this behavior, and rather than this becoming an issue in th future…? Getting out in front of it and.. putting a period on this before it gets that far..

The GOP should takes lessons on “integrity” from the Dems in this case..

    Regards,
    Truth
